Lost Critters (Quest)
Lost Critters is a side quest obtainable in Act IV by talking to Noel at Noel's Sanctuary in the Uncanny Valley. The quest consists of hunting down 8 critters
hidden around the sapphire isles, all within chests and world objects, and bringing them back to Noel.
Unlike other quests, there are 4 different rewards for this, with a new one being available for every 2 critters collected. You can obtain all of them, so the only choice involved is in which order you'd like to get them.
Locations
The critters are hidden all over the place. A crystal ball near the chests can give you hints about which areas the critters are hiding in.[1]
In a realm beyond the physical
- Found in the Astral Plane. It is hiding in the well right outside the door to Greenridge.
Within the vicinity of Greenridge
- Found in the cave that the party ends up in after beating the Basement Dungeon. You can get back there by going down the hole west of the town, right next to the flat tent. Jodie will need to use her shield ability to cross some spikes blocking the way.
- Found at the Hiking Trail. Melody needs to have the Bloom spell to activate the flower bridge on the lake.
In the Celestial Wasteland
- Found in a chest west of Mumford, on a ledge near the docking bay.
- Found in The Crypt, inside an optional conveyor belt room.
In the Amber Forest
- Found in the secret forest grove south of where you get the Bloom ability. Use it to make a flower bridge over the lake to reach this area.
In this very Valley
- Found near a hard to reach chest in the Uncanny Valley, over some Bloom bridges.
- Found south of the sanctuary, over some Bloom bridges.
Rewards
There are 4 unique rewards from this quest, all being some of the most powerful gear in the game.
More animals will also be seen within the sanctuary.
