Beast folk

Beast folk are a diverse race of bipedal anthropomorphic creatures common in Reverie, coming in all shapes and sizes. While they can resemble nearly any animal, beast folk are all members of the same species, sharing similar human-like biology. The evolutionary explanation for this genetic diversity is still hotly debated by scientists. Some believe they have magical origins, while others say it may have been a form of camouflage.

They don't suffer from things like canine allergies to chocolate. Beast folk that resemble birds also appear to not be able to fly much.
