Jack is a character the party first meets in the Celestial Wasteland. He appears as a bat with dark hair covering his left eye, and a cowboy hat. At a first glance it may appear he is wearing a poncho like one worn by cowboys of old, but it turns out the "poncho" is actually his wings. He offers indirect help to travelers via advice and giving out bottled water. He makes a living by scavenging for items dropped by adventurers on their travels.
He can be first encountered outside of Mumford in the Celestial Wasteland. After fighting the Abominable Automaton, he can be found back in Mumford, leaning against a tree.
